Hotel Security Guard

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. The ideal candidate is courteous, observant, and capable of responding calmly and effectively to a variety of situations while maintaining a welcoming hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel grounds, parking areas, and interior spaces to prevent and detect security issues
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access points
• Enforce hotel policies and safety procedures in a professional manner
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and guest concerns
• Assist guests and staff with safety-related inquiries or requests
• Complete incident, accident, and shift reports accurately and on time
• Coordinate with hotel management and local law enforcement when necessary

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous security, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid security guard license or certification (or ability to obtain)
• Experience working in a hotel or resort environment
