About the Role

Position Overview
The Life & Ancillary Product Sales Agent works directly with individuals and families to provide life insurance and ancillary products that support long-term financial security. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a service-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Present and sell life insurance and ancillary products such as dental, vision, disability, and supplemental coverage
- Educate clients on coverage options, policy features, and long-term value
- Generate new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and outbound prospecting
- Conduct client meetings in person, by phone, or virtually
- Guide clients through applications and underwriting processes with accuracy and efficiency
- Follow up consistently with leads and existing clients
- Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and compliance requirements
- Use CRM systems to manage client interactions, sales activity, and documentation
- Participate in marketing events, seminars, and community outreach (occasional evenings or weekends)
- Collaborate with sales, service, and support teams to ensure a positive client experience
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
- Support increased workload during the Annual Enrollment Period (October–December), including extended hours as needed
- Provide cross-functional support to Licensed Client Advocates (LCAs), including assisting Medicare and health insurance clients during peak periods
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred (insurance, financial services, or related field strongly desired)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with CRM systems
- Willingness to obtain and maintain required Life & Health insurance licenses (training available)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or related field a plus
