PLC Programmer

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 per year (DOE)

Position Overview
We are seeking a PLC Programmer to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing, commissioning, and supporting PLC and HMI systems for new and existing equipment, primarily using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and improve PLC and HMI control systems
• Develop electrical designs (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Service teams
• Configure and troubleshoot VFDs and control systems
• Support equipment testing, installation, and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A, and safety standards
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (or related field), OR 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
• Hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial control systems
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Work Schedule & Conditions

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Additional hours and travel may be required
• Mix of sitting and standing; occasional physical activity
