Schedule: Full-Time, In Person, not remote

Overview

A well-established organization in the Benton Harbor area is seeking an experienced Full-Service Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a comprehensive, hands-on role responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across multiple accounting disciplines and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
• Process and administer payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Prepare and assist with tax filings and related documentation
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Generate financial reports and support month-end/year-end close
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting operations

Qualifications

• Significant, hands-on experience in a full-service bookkeeping or accounting role
• Strong working knowledge of AR/AP, payroll, tax preparation, and general ledger
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
