Manufacturing Technician / Finishing Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician / Finishing Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, preparing and finishing components, and supporting production processes in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Verify dimensions of parts and tools using precision measuring instruments
• Assemble and install components as required
• Perform sandblasting and electroplating processes according to specifications
• Operate hand tools and equipment such as deburring and reaming tools, buffing and polishing.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow all safety procedures, regulations, and company policies
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, as required

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Familiarity with finishing processes such as sandblasting and electroplating is an asset
• Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE, including respirators

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/industrial setting
• Exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals; proper PPE is required at all times
