Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer for a company in Shawnee, OK. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist who can independently program, set up, and operate CNC lathes.
$20-$25+/hr (depending on experience)
Monday-Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes
Write and edit machine programs from specifications and drawings
Program lathes to produce tapered threads and other precision-machined parts
Determine machining sequences and instruct the machine on what operations to perform and when
Perform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Previous CNC lathe programming and setup experience required
Ability to write and modify CNC programs independently
Experience producing tapered threads preferred
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and measurements
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
