This role involves driving non‑CDL vehicles weighing 10,001–26,000 lbs., providing excellent customer service, and ensuring safe, accurate deliveries.

Job Description

The Non‑CDL Driver is responsible for loading and securing materials, delivering orders to customer sites, verifying order accuracy, and maintaining delivery logs. This position requires strong safety awareness, physical stamina, and a professional, customer‑focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and secure materials inside delivery vehicles
• Deliver customer orders to job sites and unload materials safely and accurately
• Verify orders against invoices and maintain delivery logs (mileage, weights, locations)
• Serve as a customer service liaison and assist with resolving delivery issues
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain HOS/DVIR logs
• Use handheld devices (not while driving) for compliance reporting
• Perform product returns and related paperwork as needed
• Operate forklifts or material‑handling equipment to load/unload materials
• Follow all safety policies and attend required safety meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
• Previous delivery experience preferred (building materials a plus)
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
