Salary: $22-$24/hour

We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Junior Accountant to join an established organization based in Port Coquitlam. This is a full‑time and permanent opportunity supporting both the finance and operations teams in a collaborative, on‑site environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or a combined accounting/logistics role within a commercial or operational environment
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience using accounting software / ERP systems
• Exposure to purchasing, inventory, or logistics systems considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail with high numerical accuracy
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
• References and a background screening will be conducted for candidates moving forward in the selection process

Role Responsibilities:

• Post journal entries and maintain accuracy of the general ledger
• Process accounts payable (vendor invoices, expenses) and accounts receivable (customer invoicing)
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month‑end close and basic financial reporting
• Coordinate and track inbound shipments and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate and complete
• Maintain and update purchase orders, shipping records, and landed cost data
• Liaise with vendors, freight providers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Investigate billing variances and support cost control initiatives
• Ensure all purchasing, invoicing, and shipping documents are properly recorded and audit‑ready
• Support compliance with accounting standards, internal procedures, and audit requirements
• Work closely with Finance, Purchasing, and Operations teams, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager / Finance Lead

• $22–$24 per hour, commensurate with experience
