We are seeking an experienced R&D Technician Assistant to join an established organization based in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity supporting a fast-paced Research & Development team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in food production, R&D, manufacturing, or a related hands-on environment
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry, tracking, and documentation
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow formulas, specifications, and written instructions
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good organizational skills and the ability to monitor own work for quality and accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is considered an asset but not required
• References and a background screening will be conducted for candidates moving forward in the hiring process

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce R&D sample products according to established specifications and timelines
• This role requires handling powdered food products on occasion, and lifting up to 55lbs on some occasions as you come up from the warehouse to the office.
• Accurately follow formulas, procedures, and technical documentation
• Record, track, and document sample data and results for internal and customer use
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
• Assist with inventory tracking of ingredients and R&D supplies
• Collaborate closely with the R&D team to support ongoing projects and customer requests
• Ensure all work aligns with company quality, food safety, and compliance standards
• This role reports directly to the R&D Manager and works closely with cross-functional teams as required

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift: 9:00am-5pm, to be confirmed
• Starting wage of $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, with potential for growth
