Express Employment is currently hiring for a Experienced Hard Wire & Dual Shield Welder for a local company in Longview, WA.

 

Pay: $23.00-25.00 Hour DOE 

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00AM -3:30pm |

Job Duties:

  • Performed hardfacing and FCAW (dual shield) welding on structural steel and heavy equipment to repair, reinforce, and extend component life
  • Read and interpreted blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and technical drawings
  • Set up and operated welding equipment including SMAW, MIG, and FCAW processes
  • Adjusted welding machine settings such as voltage, wire feed, and gas flow for proper operation
  • Welded in multiple positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
  • Prepared materials by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components prior to welding
  • Ensured weld quality by inspecting for defects and performing necessary repairs
  • Finished welds using grinders and other hand tools to meet specifications
  • Followed all safety procedures and maintained a clean, organized work area
