Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Shop Technician to support daily operations within a fast-paced shop environment. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment, assisting with repairs, and ensuring tools and materials are organized and ready for use. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on shop equipment and machinery
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues and supporting technicians with repairs
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
• Prepare, clean, and organize work areas, tools, and materials
• Load, unload, and move materials and equipment as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
• Support fabrication, assembly, or disassembly of parts and equipment
• Track and report equipment issues, maintenance needs, and inventory shortages

Preferred Skills

• Experience with equipment maintenance or repair
• Familiarity with shop safety standards and procedures
• Welding or fabrication experience (a plus, not required)
