General Labourer - Pool & Property Maintenance

Full-Time | Outdoor Work | $27.00/hour

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join a well-established pool maintenance and property maintenance company serving Guelph and the surrounding area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has experience operating trucks and trailers, and takes pride in delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will assist with pool maintenance, landscaping, seasonal property clean-ups, and general labour duties while operating company vehicles and equipment as required. This is a seasonal position running through November 1, with the potential for continued winter employment for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with residential and commercial pool maintenance and servicing.
• Perform general landscaping, property maintenance, and seasonal cleanup duties.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Safely operate company trucks, trailers, and jobsite equipment.
• Complete outdoor labour tasks in a variety of weather conditions.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and driving requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Represent the company professionally while working at customer properties.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating a 5500 truck and/or truck with trailer combination.
• Ability to provide a current 3-Year Driver's Abstract.
• Reliable transportation to commute to the company's yard in Puslinch.
• Previous outdoor labour, landscaping, construction, pool maintenance, or property maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work extended shifts of approximately 9-10 hours per day.
• Previous employment history with verifiable employers for insurance purposes.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles or equipment is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely handle landscaping, maintenance, and pool service equipment.
• Ability to work extended shifts during busy periods.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM start time
• Approximately 9-10 hours per day
• Service area includes Guelph and surrounding communities

Potential Winter Opportunity

Candidates with previous snow removal or salt truck experience may be considered for winter employment following the fall season.
