Job Summary

A metal manufacturing facility in Texarkana is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to keep operations running efficiently and safely. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment
• Replace and repair bearings, rollers, gears, housings, and other mechanical components
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete timely repairs
• Inspect machinery for wear, damage, or potential failures
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience required
• Experience in a manufacturing or metal facility preferred
• Knowledge of bearings, rollers, gears, housings, and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Strong attendance and dependability required
