Monday through Friday – 8am to 5pm

$23.36hr to $29.23hr depending on experience.

A company regarded by commercial, government, military, and scientific communities as one of the world’s pre-eminent suppliers of high-precision antenna positioning systems and components for a vast array of antenna, optical and sensor systems is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team in Northridge.

Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce precision components in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role supports production efficiency while ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to company procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various machining equipment. (e.g., CNC machines, lathes, mills)
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality and detect defects.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools. (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Document production activities and report any issues to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of machining or relevant manufacturing experience.
• Basic understanding of machining processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
