Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Living Project Superintendent to lead construction of a major multistory senior housing development in Frisco, Texas. This is a high-visibility, on-site leadership role requiring specialized expertise in senior living, assisted living, and healthcare construction, including Texas HHSC compliance and fire-life safety coordination.

The ideal candidate is a proven construction superintendent who understands the unique regulatory, operational, and quality demands of senior living projects and takes pride in building them right the first time. You will be the primary on-site authority — driving schedule, safety, quality, and accountability while setting the standard for jobsite culture and performance.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Living Construction Superintendent, you will lead all on-site construction activities, including:

  • Full responsibility for daily on-site operations, field coordination, and schedule execution for a senior living construction project
  • Direct management of trade partners, subcontractors, and vendors, maintaining productive, professional, and respectful working relationships
  • Ownership of jobsite safety, including OSHA compliance, daily and weekly safety meetings, job hazard analysis, and proactive risk mitigation
  • Ongoing collaboration with local Fire Marshals, inspectors, and authorities having jurisdiction to ensure full fire-life safety compliance
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of Texas HHSC State Inspections, with a clear understanding of regulatory expectations and documentation requirements
  • Enforcement of quality control standards, site documentation, daily reports, RFIs, and ongoing communication with the Project Manager and executive leadership
  • Leadership through clarity, consistency, and accountability — maintaining control of schedule, quality, and jobsite standards at all times
  • Establishment and maintenance of a jobsite culture that is organized, safe, efficient, and accountable, aligned with Regent’s construction standards

Required Experience & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must bring the following experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a strong focus on senior living, assisted living, or healthcare construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience building multistory Type II construction
  • Proven, hands-on knowledge of Texas HHSC requirements, including successful preparation and management of HHSC inspections
  • Experience coordinating with Fire Marshals, fire-life safety systems, inspections, and overall code compliance
  • OSHA safety training (OSHA 30 preferred) with the ability to lead safety initiatives confidently and consistently
  • Strong leadership mindset with a high level of ownership, problem-solving ability, and proactive communication skills
  • Ability to manage subcontractors firmly, professionally, and respectfully — driving performance while maintaining morale
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and team-oriented leadership aligned with Regent’s values and culture
  • Experience using Buildertrend, Bluebeam, or similar construction management and documentation platforms is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a comprehensive and competitive package, including:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Vehicle allowance or company truck
  • Health, dental, and supplemental benefits
  • Project-specific performance incentives
  • Employment with a stable, values-driven Texas general contractor
  • Opportunity to lead high-profile projects and grow long-term within a trusted organization
