Monday – Friday, 8 am-5 pm

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is hiring a Utility Van Installation Tech for a local specialty truck equipment company in East Baton Rouge Parish. 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Utility Van Installation Tech:  

• Perform installs with top quality on customer vehicles 
• Test the functionality of parts and systems
• Perform routine troubleshooting on the vehicle
• Clean professional electrical wiring installation 
• Sweep out your work area daily 
• Work with the Sales team to evaluate the time and materials needed to quote jobs adequately 
• Perform thorough investigations on all incidents that occur including driving the completion of action items with the team
• Final inspection of all trucks before leaving bays to ensure quality 

 

Skills and Experience:

• Positive attitude and willingness to work well with others
• Must know how to use the tools needed for the job 
• Have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and to work standing for 8-hour periods
• Must be able to read and understand instruction manuals for assembly and manufacturing
• Good communication skills, strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving
• Dedicated, driven approach and commitment to getting it right with a never-ending desire to learn, improve, and contribute 
• Keep a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Strong desire and aptitude to learn and take on new challenges and responsibilities 
• Ability to read, interpret, and work with complex part and assembly drawings and manuals
• Must have own tools including Cordless drill, cordless impact, standard socket set, set of wrenches, Phillips and flat head screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, toolbox
