We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Assistant Manager to join the automotive service team at one of our clients. This role supports daily shop operations, ensures excellent customer service, and helps lead a team of technicians in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, scheduling, and workflow

Greet customers, write service orders, and provide clear explanations of recommended services

Support technicians by coordinating jobs, parts, and timelines

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

Help manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

Train and support staff to ensure high-quality service

Step in as acting manager when needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in automotive service or shop management

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to lead a team and solve problems quickly

Basic understanding of automotive repair and maintenance

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
