• Set up and operate cold header machines (single or multi-die)
• Load wire stock and ensure proper feed into the machine
• Install and adjust dies, punches, and tooling for each job
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain part quality
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specifications
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Identify defects and adjust machine settings to reduce scrap
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance when needed
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with machine changeovers
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
• Experience with header machines or metal forming equipment is a plus
• Ability to read measurements and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment
