Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring directly for a Tile Installer for a Cabinet & Flooring company based in Tampa/Brandon, FL

Duties

• Measure, cut, and lay tiles with precision according to project specifications and schematics
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar
• Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate tile placement and layout planning
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, grouting, caulking, and sealing tiles
• Install related fixtures such as trims, moldings, cabinets, or other surface components as needed
• Perform restoration work including water damage repair, floor care, and surface refinishing to restore the original beauty
• Collaborate with carpenters, handymen, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution

Skills

• Strong experience in flooring installation and tile laying techniques with attention to detail
• Proficiency in construction estimating and understanding schematics or blueprints
• Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely
• Knowledge of caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and cabinet setup
• Familiarity with construction site experience including remodeling projects and concrete finishing
• Ability to read schematics accurately for precise tile placement and layout planning
• Experience with restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration or floor care maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and client.
