Position Summary

The Parts Department Associate plays a key role in supporting daily operations through accurate handling, organization, and tracking of parts and materials. This position is responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory control, and issuing parts to employees. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a warehouse-style environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against documentation
• Safely unload, move, and store parts using a sit-down forklift
• Put parts away in designated locations while maintaining an orderly and tidy workspace
• Sign parts out to employees and document usage accurately
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records and assist with cycle counts
• Organize parts to ensure easy identification and retrieval
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials promptly
• Follow all safety policies and warehouse procedures

Required Qualifications

• Some prior parts or inventory experience required
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift (experience required)
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Neat, tidy, and methodical work habits
• Teachable attitude and willingness to learn processes and systems
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
