We are seeking a dedicated and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant for a non-profit arts organization in Acton, MA. This administrative role supports development, events, and visual arts coordination in a fast-paced, creative environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across Development and Visual Arts teams
  • Enter and maintain data in CRM systems
  • Prepare donor acknowledgment letters, name tags, and event materials
  • Assist with board meeting preparation (materials, catering, coordination)
  • Support exhibit preparation, including receiving artwork, labeling, and organizing submissions
  • Communicate with artists and assist with student showcase coordination
  • Assist with mailings and general office support
  • Provide light physical support related to exhibit setup occasionally
  • Support occasional evening events (approximately 2x/month) including setup, check-in, and breakdown

 

Qualifications

  • Prior administrative experience required
  • Experience with CRM/database systems (Salesforce, Tessitura, or similar) required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable learning new tasks and working across different functions
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to provide light physical support as needed
  • Availability for occasional evening events preferred

 

Schedule: This is a part-time position (20–30 hours/week) with a flexible schedule Tuesday–Friday between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. You can choose to work 3 or 4 days per week. This is a temporary role for 1–2 months, with potential to become permanent based on business needs.

Pay: Pay is $25–$28/hour, depending on experience.
