Duties for the Mechanical/Electrical Assembler are:

 

 

· Assemble, test, repair, and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical devices, including flight data recorders, following schematics and written instructions with precision and attention to detail.

 

· Crimp, solder, and analyze electrical circuits for functionality and integrity; utilize tools such as microscopes, multimeters, and other specialized testing equipment to ensure high-quality assembly.

 

· Collaborate with production teams to meet timelines and product specifications, maintaining strict adherence to technical drawings, schematics, and safety protocols.

 

 

 

Requirements for the Mechanical/Electrical Assembler include:

 

· High school diploma or GED; hands-on experience in electronic and mechanical assembly preferred, with demonstrated manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.

 

· Proficient in soldering techniques, circuit analysis, use of small hand tools, crimpers, microscopes, and multimeters; soldering certification is highly desirable.

 

· Ability to read technical drawings, follow detailed instructions, troubleshoot technical issues, and work collaboratively in a production environment.
