Our client, a well-established manufacturer in mississauga is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a skilled manufacturing team on a permanent basis (Afternoon Shift). This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive safety, quality, and operational excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold a production team accountable to clear performance standards while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work culture
• Oversee daily production schedules, ensuring output meets specifications, deadlines, and quality requirements
• Conduct regular audits and inspections, resolving non-conformances quickly and driving corrective and preventive actions
• Champion a safety-first environment through daily floor communication, protocol enforcement, and thorough incident investigations
• Keep senior management informed on production, quality, and safety performance while ensuring accurate ERP data entry and clean shift handovers

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of leading teams through accountability, coaching, and progressive discipline
• Strong grasp of quality standards, inspection procedures, and SOPs, with the ability to enforce them consistently on the floor
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and a comfort level with learning new platforms and processes
• A calm, organized, and detail-oriented approach — able to prioritize and multi-task effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills, with the confidence to give feedback, lead conversations, and keep stakeholders informed
• Ability to work in afternoon shift (2:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m.)
