Salary: $46,000 - $55,000

We're seeking a customer-focused Order Desk Sales Associate to join our flooring company's dynamic team in the west end.

Duties may include, but are not limited to: 

• Respond to incoming phone calls and greet customers at the order desk, providing exceptional service
• Assist contractors and clients with orders, quotes, and bids, offering expert advice on additional products and material
• Process orders, quotes, and bids accurately using established procedures and company software
• Proactively manage open orders, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up as needed
• Provide detailed product information to customers, both in-person and over the phone
• Maintain a professional demeanor, communicating effectively to deliver friendly, exceptional service
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team

Required skills and qualifications: 

• Previous sales or counter sales experience
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Experience with kitchen and bath products (training provided if needed)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Computer savvy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  

Assets: 

• Post-secondary education in Interior Decorating or Interior Design
• Relevant industry experience and product knowledge an asset

Salary: $46,000 - $55,000 per year depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 5:00pm
