1. Warehouse Associate (Packaging / General Labor)

Main duties:

• Assemble wood crates and metal racks for glass products
• Package and prepare glass for shipping
• Uncrate incoming shipments and organize materials
• Stock packaging supplies for production use
• Repack damaged shipments and manage inventory
• Use systems (like SAP) to look up parts and track materials
• Band and secure glass products for transport

Physical requirements:

• Lift 35–70 lbs regularly
• Work in hot/cold warehouse conditions
• Use hand tools and basic equipment

2. Shipping / Receiving & Warehouse Stock Clerk

Main duties:

• Load and unload trucks with automotive glass
• Pick and pack orders for customers
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, or reach trucks
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cycle counts
• Create reports on inventory, breakage, and shortages
• Handle paperwork and shipping documents

Other responsibilities:

• Assist customers or internal teams with orders
• Perform inventory audits and part checks

3. Warehouse + Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)

(Very common at Pilkington branches)

Split role (approx.):

• ~70–75% warehouse work
• ~25–30% delivery driving

Warehouse duties:

• Pull orders and prepare deliveries
• Inspect glass for quality and damage

Delivery duties:

• Deliver glass to customers
• Maintain good customer relationships
• Load/unload delivery trucks

Main duties:

• Track and verify inventory levels
