Controller

Location: Lake County (Onsite initially)
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 based on experience

Overview

A growing fulfillment and logistics organization is seeking a Controller to lead all financial operations and serve as a strategic partner to leadership. This role supports warehousing, fulfillment, and transportation functions while driving financial stability and profitable growth.

This position is onsite in Lake County for at least the first three months, with potential for hybrid flexibility over time based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, payroll, treasury, and reporting
• Ensure accurate financial statements, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Analyze operational costs related to fulfillment, warehousing, labor, and transportation
• Support pricing, vendor negotiations, and contract profitability
• Manage cash flow, capital planning, and banking relationships
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (required)
• 7–10 years of progressive financial management experience
• Logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, or distribution experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cost structures, ERP systems, and financial reporting
• Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills
