We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shop Assistant who excels in customer service, administrative support, ticket creation, and inside sales. This role supports daily shop operations, assists customers in person and over the phone, manages service tickets, and contributes to sales growth by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate products or services.
Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked shop environment.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests with professionalism.
Assist with product selection, demonstrations, and basic troubleshooting.
Create, update, and close service tickets in the company’s system.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, work orders, and inventory.
Process payments, invoices, returns, and exchanges.
Support scheduling, filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Respond to inbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with a sales-focused mindset.
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, services, or upgrades.
Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and assist with order processing.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Assist technicians or shop staff with parts pulling, staging, and inventory checks.
Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
Support shipping/receiving tasks, including packaging and labeling.
