Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to support operations in a fast-paced recycling/manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, welding experience, and the ability to work with a variety of industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including conveyor systems and recycling machinery
• Weld and repair broken equipment using MIG and Stick welding techniques
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and solenoids
• Maintain facility infrastructure, including fencing and general repairs
• Operate and work around forklifts and heavy machinery safely
• Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs and maintenance tasks

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
• 2–3 years of basic electrical experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with MIG and Stick welding required
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work
• Experience working with forklifts and industrial equipment preferred

• $28 hourly 
• Monday- Friday 7Am- 4:30PM
• Warren, MI 48066
