Job Title: CNC Set-Up and Operator - Direct Hire
Location: Monroe, NC
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift 

Pay Range: $21.00– $27.00/hour (Progressive based on experience and internal matrix)

 

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up and Operator to join our Machining Centers team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC horizontal and vertical mills while ensuring high-quality production in accordance with safety and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills (horizontal and vertical)

• Interpret blueprints and adjust tooling to maintain tolerances

• Select and load appropriate fixturing

• Perform in-process inspections using assigned gauges

• Make minor tooling changes and touch-offs

• Complete accurate quality and production documentation

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks

• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards

• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and ISO procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications:

• Prior CNC set-up and operating experience required

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Familiarity with basic program editing and axis assignment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Must demonstrate skills listed on the internal training matrix
