Job Summary
Position Description: Rentals Manager
Reports to: President
Primary Function: Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the division, ensuring all field and office operations consistently align with company values, policies, safety standards, and financial objectives. Rentals Manager is responsible for driving business performance through effective planning, asset management, customer service excellence, and cross functional coordination. Provide the leadership required to achieve service and sales objectives, maintain budget and P&L accountability, ensuring regulatory compliance, resolve customer and employee issues, and support continuous improvement to strengthen competitive position and operational efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and applicable legislation
· Provide effective leadership and communication with the expectation of meeting goals and objectives for sales and services.
Oversee & ensure that field and office operations are aligned with business planning and processes. Lead by example (customer service, customer relations, asset management, budget adherence, safety compliance).
· Lead and communicate goals and performance expectations.
· Represent interests in cross-functional meetings and business development initiatives.
· Oversee business planning, asset management, and customer service standards for group.
· Ensure adherence to budget, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
· Coordinate with Operations Coordinators on equipment needs and major repairs.
· Manage construction/repair/service/maintenance processes.
· Lead biweekly safety meetings.
· Identify and implement process improvements.
· Liaise with Sales, Corporate, subcontractors.
· Manage P&L and budget expectations.
· Track costs with Finance and Operations teams.
· Determine staffing needs across the region.
· Address day-to-day employee issues, mediate workplace conflicts, and provide HR training as needed.
· A point of contact for customer disputes and resolution.
· Support on site job planning.
· Assist with debt collection.
 
Other Duties:
· Review and approve Purchase Orders and Purchase Invoices
· Inventory allocation across locations, customer sites, and upcoming jobs
· Review job costs to ensure accurate billing and rebilling
· Review/build out service charges on sales quotes and provide pricing feedback
· For new hires, lead resume reviews and interviews
 
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
 
Education & Experience:
- Experience in Rentals of Heavy Equipment.
· 5+ years Managing a Centrifuge Rentals business
· 10+ years operating Decanter/Tri-canter Centrifuges
· A valid Class 5 Drivers License
· An ability to lead, direct and supervise team members
· Highly motivated and organized

· Performing all other duties as required for day-to-day business operations.
