General Labor

Salary: $17.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused General Labor to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving long steel bars using an overhead crane, as well as banding and preparing steel bundles for shipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an overhead crane to safely move steel bars throughout the facility
• Load and unload steel materials for production and shipping
• Band and secure steel bundles for storage and shipment
• Handle long steel bars while following all safety procedures
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with team members to meet production and shipping schedules

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous warehouse or shop experience preferred
• Overhead crane experience preferred (training available)
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment handling large steel materials

• Monday- Friday 7AM- 3:30PM
• Warren, MI 48066
