Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Sandblaster / Industrial Painter for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting) to properly clean and prep metal surfaces
  • Apply industrial coatings using airless and/or HVLP spray systems
  • Mix and apply primers, epoxies, and topcoats to specification
  • Remove imperfections such as rust, scale, and weld residue
  • Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and coverage
  • Maintain and clean blasting and painting equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and respirators
  • Work closely with production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards

Equipment You’ll Use

  • Blast pots, blast cabinets, and abrasive media
  • Airless sprayers and HVLP spray guns
  • Grinders, sanders, and surface prep tools
  • Paint mixing systems and coating equipment
  • Film thickness gauges and inspection tools

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in sandblasting, industrial painting, or auto/body painting
  • Strong understanding of surface preparation and coating application
  • Ability to operate spray equipment and prep tools safely and effectively
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task
  • Team player with a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing / shop environment
