Mold Setter B- Direct Hire

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mold Setter to support production by ensuring efficient mold setup, process stability, and consistent part quality. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production standards and collaborating with the setup team to execute scheduled jobs accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain process characteristics at the work center to ensure consistent production of quality parts
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues when parts do not meet quality standards
• Collaborate with the Supervisor, Mold Setter team, and Material Handler to plan upcoming jobs and ensure timely execution
• Verify molds, tools, and auxiliary equipment are prepared and available for scheduled setups
• Perform mold changes and support successful job start-ups from setup through production
• Apply basic math skills to support setup, measurements, and process adjustments
• Follow and interpret written instructions, procedures, and work orders accurately

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of plastic injection molding experience, including mold setup and processing
• Strong understanding of plastics processing and troubleshooting
• Proven track record of successful mold setups and job start-ups
• Experience working with plastic injection molding machines
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment

Additional information for the Mold Setter

• $24 hourly 

• Week1: Monday till Wednesday: 12:00pm -6:15 pm / Thursday & Friday: OFF/ Saturday & Sunday: 6:00am-6:15pm
• Week2: Monday till Wednesday: 12:00pm -6:15 pm / Thursday & Friday: 6:00am-6:15pm / Saturday &Sunday: OFF
