Job Title: Landscaper

Job Summary:
A landscaper is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving outdoor spaces such as gardens, lawns, parks, and commercial properties. This role involves both physical labor and basic design skills to ensure outdoor areas are visually appealing, healthy, and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mow, edge, and maintain lawns and grassy areas
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery
• Prune and trim plants to maintain shape and health
• Install landscaping features such as sod, mulch, and irrigation systems
• Remove weeds, debris, and dead plants
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely and appropriately
• Assist with landscape design and layout when needed
• Monitor plant health and identify issues such as pests or disease
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

  Working Conditions:

  • Primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
  • May require early mornings, weekends, or seasonal overtime
