Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tool Maker to join our team. This role is responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong machining skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, modify, and repair tools, dies, molds, and fixtures
• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
• Operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders)
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain tooling inventory and ensure proper documentation
• Work closely with engineering and production teams
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of tool making or related machining experience preferred
• Strong understanding of tool and die processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with precision measuring instruments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC programming and setup
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Knowledge of metal properties and heat treatment processes
