Material Planner

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner to support production operations by ensuring the timely availability of materials. This role is responsible for coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and maintaining accurate system data to keep production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure sufficient material is available to meet production demands
• Manage shipping plans and logistics details to support on-time delivery
• Confirm and track incoming orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain and update material levels within SAP to support inventory accuracy
• Monitor and adjust inventory to prevent shortages or overstock situations
• Spend approximately 20% of time on the production floor and 80% in an office environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with SAP required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with EDI processes is a plus, but not required
