CNC Machinist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on machines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous CNC machining experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with G-code programming
• Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, etc.)
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
