Express Employment is seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to set up and operate automated welding and metal forming equipment. This role is responsible for running production jobs efficiently while meeting or exceeding established production, setup, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PLC-controlled machinery, stamping presses, or automated welding systems.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate automated welding and metal forming equipment
• Run production jobs in accordance with established standards and schedules
• Perform regular quality inspections to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications and tolerance requirements
• Identify non-conforming parts and perform minor repairs or rework as needed
• Ensure all finished parts are suitable for the next stage of production
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications:

• Recent, steady work history in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience setting up and operating PLC-controlled machinery, hydraulic or mechanical stamping presses, or automated welding systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency using a tape measure and basic inspection tools
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform regular heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)

Schedule: Mon-Fri 3:30pm-2:00am
