Position Summary

The Entry-Level Inside Sales Representative / Business Development Representative is responsible for supporting new business growth by identifying potential clients, making outbound calls, and introducing staffing services to local businesses. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in sales, business development, or staffing.

No staffing industry experience is required—we provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Prospecting

  • Make outbound calls to potential client companies using provided lists and research tools
  • Identify hiring managers and decision-makers
  • Ask questions to understand basic hiring needs and challenges
  • Introduce staffing services and explain how we help employers
  • Set appointments or pass qualified leads to senior sales or branch leadership
  • Track daily activity and results

Relationship Building

  • Build rapport with prospects through professional, friendly communication
  • Follow up with potential clients by phone and email
  • Maintain accurate notes and updates in the CRM system

Learning & Development

  • Participate in sales training, coaching, and role-playing sessions
  • Learn staffing industry terminology, sales techniques, and objection handling
  • Shadow experienced sales and recruiting team members

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with recruiters to understand open positions and candidate availability
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to a positive, goal-driven environment

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and a comfortable phone presence
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take coaching
  • Competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Basic computer skills (email, CRM, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
  • Ability to manage time and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Internship, customer service, retail, call center, or entry-level sales experience
  • Interest in sales, staffing, or business development
