Position Requirements
A department lead is responsible for the productivity of the department when the supervisor is in another area of the facility or away. This includes monitoring work flow and adjusting as needed. A strong understanding of the production flow of all departments is beneficial.
The lead can identify problems such as inventory issues or back logs in production and can either correct, “trouble shoot” or report to the supervisor.
A department lead understands the flow of the department. Will assign, train and coach team members to maximize productivity. Monitor breaks and lunch schedule as well as attendance.
A department lead understands the need for certain times quickly – Priority Items, and insures they move through the process as quickly as possible.
Areas of Production with Lead Positions Openings:
Returns department, Day Shift 5AM to 1:00 pm Evening Shift 1 pm to 9 pm
Starting rate is at $17 per hour
