Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Auditor for one of our clients located in Colorado Springs. 

We’re seeking an analytical Auditor to perform financial, compliance, and performance audits that strengthen controls and support better decision-making. This role is ideal for professionals who can work independently, apply risk-based approaches, and deliver actionable insights.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits from risk assessment through reporting
• Evaluate internal controls, fraud risk, and operational effectiveness
• Analyze data, document findings, and prepare clear audit reports
• Present recommendations to stakeholders and support audit initiatives
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes

✅ What You Bring

• Knowledge of audit standards and risk-based methodologies
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
• Understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with GAAP, GASB, NIST, or COBIT

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, finance, or similar

⭐ Preferred

• Public sector or large organization experience
• Data analytics or IT audit experience
• Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CFE, PMP)
