Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Production Scheduler for a manufacturing company located in Everett, WA. Starting pay is $40+ per hour DOE. This is a full‑time, direct‑hire position working day shift, Monday–Friday.

This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving production schedules in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment between customer demand, inventory levels, material availability, and production capacity to support consistent throughput and on‑time delivery.

• Develop and manage daily and short‑term production schedules based on demand, capacity, materials, and inventory levels
• Review production schedules, system data, and priorities to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and efficient execution
• Coordinate with production, inventory, purchasing, and sales teams to resolve material shortages, capacity conflicts, and shifting priorities
• Monitor production flow and proactively identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute reports related to production performance, inventory status, and schedule adherence
• Maintain accurate planning, inventory, and work order data within ERP/MRP systems
• Support inventory control activities including stock reviews, accuracy initiatives, and cycle count follow‑up
• Partner with leadership to improve scheduling processes, reporting visibility, and operational efficiency
• Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to production and planning stakeholders
• Follow all safety procedures and support safe operations in office, production, and warehouse environments
• Perform additional planning and operational support tasks as assigned

• 5+ years of production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting high‑SKU, make‑to‑order, or mixed‑model production preferred
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production work order management
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and schedule modeling
• Solid understanding of production flow, material planning, and inventory control principles
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with production, inventory, and commercial teams
• Experience working directly with manufacturing floor operations

• Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling methodologies
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate analysis into actionable insights
• Proactive approach to identifying risks and improvement opportunities
• Clear, effective communication across hourly staff, salaried teams, and leadership
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting and influencing others

• Timely and insightful reporting and analysis
• Early identification and resolution of production and material risks
• Maintained accuracy of planning, inventory, and system data
• Demonstrated improvements in scheduling efficiency and production flow
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration

• Combination of office‑based planning work and time on the production floor
• Regular interaction with manufacturing, warehouse, and inventory areas
• May involve standing, walking, and light physical activity
