MIG Welder (Sheet Metal) – 1st Shift | $19–$21/hr+ | Full-Time

 

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a skilled MIG Welder for a growing manufacturing team. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity with competitive pay and room for advancement for top performers.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Welder with sheet metal experience to join our team. This role involves working with a MIG welding system to fabricate and assemble metal components while maintaining high-quality standards.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday
  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Consistent full-time hours

Pay:

  • $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • Higher pay available for highly qualified candidates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on sheet metal components
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
  • Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with MIG welding required
  • Experience working with sheet metal fabrication preferred
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings/shop prints
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and perform physical work
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
