Salary: $35-$48 DOE

An Express Employment Professionals client is looking for a Production Electrician – Oil & Gas to play a critical role in maintaining internal control and ownership of electrical processes related to manufactured products. This position requires a Journeyman Electrician License and strong working knowledge of NFPA 70 and Class I, Division 1 standards.

The primary focus of this role is the installation, termination, and connection of electrical components on manufactured products. A secondary responsibility includes supporting facility electrical repairs, installations, and equipment relocation, including stationary equipment (press brakes, plasma tables) and mobile tools (shop welding equipment).

This role requires travel between facilities in Colorado and Wyoming to support both production and facility electrical needs, along with other duties as assigned.

Oil & Gas equipment electrical experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions
  • Install, terminate, and connect electrical components to Class I, Division 1 standards
  • Perform safety and quality checks on completed work
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Maintain flexibility in work hours to meet customer and production needs
  • Adapt to changing priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Identify schematic or system issues that could result in time or cost savings
  • Serve as an electrical safety champion for the organization
  • Promote core values including integrity, innovation, quality, and efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Active Journeyman Electrician License
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 and hazardous location standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and forecasting skills
  • Thorough understanding of industry best practices and standards
  • Ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and execute effectively
  • Ability to coordinate multiple efforts to meet production demands
  • Willingness to share knowledge related to tools, methods, and safety practices
  • Requirements may change based on business needs

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally (team-lift scenarios)
  • Ability to safely navigate manufacturing environments
  • Ability to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, kneel, lay, and squat as required
  • Manual dexterity to perform detailed electrical work consistently

Compensation

$35.00–$48.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
