Express is in search of a Journeyman Electrician in Fort Morgan, CO.

Position Summary
A Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a licensed professional who can work independently, interpret technical plans, and ensure all work complies with applicable codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and panels
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools (e.g., voltmeters, ohmmeters)
• Supervise or assist apprentices and less-experienced electricians
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (per state requirements) or lots of experience
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
• Familiarity with advanced systems (e.g., PLCs, automation, or renewable energy systems)
• OSHA safety certification

 Pay - $34-42/hour DOE
