Powder Blending Lead

Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
$22/hour


About the Role

We’re hiring a Powder Blending Lead to take ownership of a critical manufacturing process supporting StoveTop FireStop® products. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee powder blending operations, ensure product quality, and help guide a small team in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and perform the powder blending process following detailed work instructions
  • Operate, set up, clean, and maintain blending equipment
  • Adjust processes based on temperature, humidity, and environmental conditions
  • Complete daily production and quality documentation
  • Train team members and assign priorities/workflow
  • Work cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams
  • Identify and communicate equipment issues quickly
  • Safely operate a forklift to move materials
  • Support assembly line production as needed
  • Suggest and implement process improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in manufacturing, mixing, blending, or production environments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (equipment setup, cleaning, troubleshooting)
  • Ability to read machine settings and input data accurately
  • Leadership experience or ability to direct team workflow
  • High attention to detail and process adherence
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments (dust, noise, temperature changes)
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule & Work Environment

  • 4-day work week: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Manufacturing environment with moving machinery, airborne particles, and temperature fluctuations
  • PPE required (safety glasses, dust mask/respirator, etc.)
  • Physical role: standing, walking, and lifting up to 60 lbs regularly
