Movie Theater Custodian
Express Employment Professionals of LAX is seeking a Movie Theater Custodian for a client that provides professional cleaning services for movie theaters. The custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the theater, including theaters, lobbies, restrooms, and other common areas. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for moviegoers. Hours:  10p-6:30a

Key Responsibilities for the Movie Theater Custodian:

• Perform regular cleaning and sanitization tasks in theaters, lobbies and other public areas.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot clean floors, ensuring cleanliness throughout the venue.

• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in a timely and efficient manner.

• Safely operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.

• Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and maintaining a clean environment.

• Participate in special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements for the Movie Theater Custodian:

• Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus but not necessary.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications for the Movie Theater Custodian:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience, ideally in a commercial or entertainment setting.

• Familiarity with cleaning machines and equipment, such as floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners.

• Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning protocols in a commercial environment.
