Box Truck Driver (Non-CDL) – Local Delivery

Position Summary

We are hiring a dependable Box Truck Driver (Non-CDL) to operate a commercial vehicle (under 26,000 lbs) for local and regional deliveries. This role includes loading and unloading cargo, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining delivery logs, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has experience as a delivery driver, route driver, or box truck driver and can meet scheduled delivery timelines.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or delivery vehicle to complete scheduled routes
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual labor, ensuring proper securement
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and customer signatures
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws
• Provide professional customer service and communicate with dispatch and customers

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Experience as a box truck driver or delivery driver preferred

Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy or bulky items

Strong time management and ability to meet delivery schedules

Effective communication skills

 

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Pay: 20.00/hr
