• Week one: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Week two: Working Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Laboratory Technician for a company in West Lafayette. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys hands-on lab work and wants to gain valuable experience in a quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing (microbiological, chemical, physical, and mechanical) following written procedures

• Accurately document and maintain testing records and data

• Identify and segregate non-conforming products

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment

• Report any deviations or issues to the supervisor promptly

• Assist with ordering and maintaining lab supplies and equipment

• Perform data entry and other computer-based tasks

• Support additional quality and laboratory functions as needed

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science-related field OR 2–3 years of lab, quality assurance, or inspection experience (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar industry preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions

• Basic math and measurement skills

• Comfortable with computers and data entry

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organization and multitasking abilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Ability to work in a lab and office environment

• Willingness to work with materials derived from animal tissue
