We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support our Quality Department and help ensure our products meet regulatory, certification, and customer quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in quality control, food safety, manufacturing, and compliance who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.


What You’ll Do

As a Quality Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining product integrity and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide back-up support for the Quality Systems Manager;
  • Participate in internal and external audits; ensure the facility is always “audit ready”
  • Prepare and maintain document control; conduct various inspections and complete PCQI sign-off;
  • Perform various calibration verification activities; as needed
  • Manage various sections of the FSMS system;
  • Perform Quality Control functions; assess incoming materials;
  • Provide Finished Product Quality Approval;
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with company standards and procedures; as well as all certifications and statutory/regulatory guidelines
  • Follow all applicable instructions related to food and feed safety including Hygiene and Employee GMP’s, the FDA, and 3rd party certifications including FSSC 22000 and FAMI-QS;
  • Perform light housekeeping duties; as needed.
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in quality or a science related field; preferred
  • A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience working in a quality role, preferably in food or feed manufacturing
  • FSSC 22000 or FAMI QS experience is preferred
  • PCQI Certification – must have ability to obtain within 6 months of hire if do not possess
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
  • Working knowledge of what HACCP is and how to apply it is preferred.

  • Manufacturing and production environment
  • Exposure to non-hazardous powders or chemicals
  • Variable or unregulated temperatures
  • Frequent standing; some tasks may be performed seated
  • Regular use of hands, arms, and fingers
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and move as needed
